Twice a week, you will write in your own writing journal.
You must hand in your writing journal to your instructor every Tuesday and Thursday.
What?
You must write about a different topic each time.
The topics will be available on this blog.
Click on the journals link here or under the category "Labels" in the right column.
Where?
You must write your journals on a piece of paper in any of the following ways:
- kept in a special folder only for your journals in this class
- in a notebook only for your journals in this class
How?
Your instructor will return the journals to you the next day with a reply.
Grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and mechanics will NOT be graded.
You will also receive a grade as follows:
- Check-plus - excellent work and very interesting
- Check - OK work, interesting, but you could have written more or better
- Check-minus - poor work, I can't understand your writing, or very little effort
- Zero - no work or too late
Practice makes perfect.
If you practice writing in English more, your writing will improve.
